How long have you been scrapping? The "safe" way since June '06; collecting pictures in magnetic (YUCK) albums - 30+ years!!!!
What are you currently working on? My son's baby album & my best friend's house book
How much time do you spend scrapbooking? I actually spend more time SHOPPING than scrapbooking - but probably 5 - 6 hours a week.
Where do you get your ideas/inspiration? Classy Coordinates Sketch a Day Club, PaperCrafts magazine,
Favorite Tool and why? A tie between my Cricut and my Cuttlebug -- I can create various alphbets & shapes to use as coordinating embellishments on my pages
Favorite Technique and why? - Inking/Distressing - alters the edges of paper, adding another dimension to the product
Time or Money Saving Tip - ALWAYS use coupons, DON'T overstock! Plan your projects BEFORE you shop or sit down to put your project together
Organizational Tip - DON'T overstock and label ALL containers; organize paper by color
List your other Scrappin’ accomplishments(Contests, published etc.) - Started Beginner Scrapbooking/Paper Crafts Classes at a local Homeschool Center targeted towards children ages 8 -15+
What are your future scrapbooking aspirations/goals? To be able to COMPLETE an album within 2 months, to move beyond my current comfort level of scrapbooking and teach more people of color about preserving memories/heritage through photography AND journaling.
