Name: Thomisia Francois
Family: married with 3 daughters
How long scrapping: since 1998
What are you currently working on? Right now (& always), I'm scrapping whatever photos that motivate me...keeps me interested.
How much time do you spend scrapbooking? Not as much as I'd like but I tend to do something scrap-related almost daily.
Where do you get your ideas/inspiration? Although I love looking online and in magazines/idea books, I draw most of my inspiration from my photos and the memories.
Favorite Tool and why? my computer- It's a must have for printing my journaling, editing my photos, and searching for inspiration.
Favorite Technique and why? I love the look of handcut titles because they can help set the mood for the whole page.
Time or Money Saving Tip: I'd love some advice on this myself, lol. Seriously, don't get caught up in the "gotta haves". Beautiful albums can be created without the latest and greatest.
List Scrappin’ accomplishments(Contests, published etc.) I've been published in Scrapbook Trends, CorrespondenceART, Creating Keepsakes, and idea books from Memory Makers, Simple Scrapbooks, Kodak, and JoAnn's ScrapEssentials. I recently won a monthly contest on Scrap Jazz. I'm on design teams for Classy Coordinates and Scrapbook Playground.
List Scrappin’ aspirations if any: I'm just hoping to continue recording my memories and having some fun in the process.
Advice for those who want to get published: Whether you are interested in being published or not, I say stick to your style. In the end, you'll treasure having an album full of pages that you love. |
